About half of over 200 middle school students, from a New Jersey 8th grade class, refused to pose for a photo with Ryan during a school trip to Washington, DC.
Some of the reasons:

not enough support for public education and library funding, the GOP health care plan that could mean 23 million fewer Americans without insurance, and his stance on LGBTQ rights.
“I have pre-existing conditions. My son has pre-existing conditions. My husband has pre-existing conditions that under this new law if my husband or I lose our jobs we might not be able to get health care, and that’s scary,” she said.
“I think that taking the picture represents that you agree with the same political views and I don’t agree with his political views so I chose not to be in it,” student
He told the newspaper he disagreed with the GOP's policies on health care and other issues Ryan has endorsed. He added that he views Ryan as someone who “puts his party before his country.”
My son's eighth grade class just went to DC. But the majority of the boys came back with MAGA hats or shirts. Our family is in the minority here with our politics.
Good for those kids for standing up for their beliefs.

What beliefs? 8th graders have little brains of mush. The only thing these NJ kids are doing is reflecting their parent's indoctrination.
My spouse and I have an acquaintance who's always proudly posting her seven year olds rants about Trump on FB. It's creepy. Kids don't pay attention to politics, their uber-liberal parents do.
Yet this couple would be the first to bash some white nationalist parent posting their kids rantings about liberals or muslims.
It's all hatred folks, it doesn't matter what guise it comes in.
As a famous song once said...Leave them kids alone.
Middle schoolers don't even know their head from their arse to have a valid political opinion. This is obvious brain washing by the parents or school. Typical progressive voter, the mentality of a child.

Is your comprehension off again this morning. To compare a 7 year old to 8th graders is absurd, but you often are a master at absurdity.
Its 8th graders meaning around 13-14 years old. I would hope they have been doing some reading and thinking by this time.
Good for them for standing up for their parents beliefs and learning how to regurgitate things said by their teachers.
Yep......
