Are facts a problem? To fix a problem it must be identified.
Men have evolved to be aggressive and "protectors" of their tribes. In the modern world this often clashes with reality since much of the world is no longer tribally based.
No doubt Fundy Religion is a big problem also. Most Fundy Religions tend to put women down in one way or another...so that becomes a problem for 50% of the population.
As to who to blame for what....ask me anything. In terms of the downfall of America, it's the lack of a civil society and the fact that money buys influence. This ends up killing and hurting more Americans than anything else.
Of course, most of these decisions are made by males. Surely you've seen the pics of large groups of older men sitting around in DC discussing the future of female health care?
