If there's nothing more to it then surely he would have said he didn't think he colluded? Instead he says Trump wasn't under investigation at the time, leaving the possibility that he is now.
BORING.. what exactly is going to come from this?? So far,
1. Trump lies sometimes
2. Trump said he "hoped" for an outcome
3. Comey was instructed (not that they "hoped" he would) to down play Clinton investigation by AG Lynch
4. Trump was not under investigation while Comey was FBI Director
5. Russia tried to influence our election
6. Comey leaked his own memo in hopes a special prosecutor would be appointed
Anything else? What a waste of time.
pretty much this. I don't know what people expected though LOL.
The investigation is still ongoing. Who sits in the director's chair has no bearing on what the field agents are doing. Vietnam did not end when JFK was killed.
Are you honestly trying to sell that the FBI Director has no bearing on what the field agents are doing, what investigations they pursue, etc. ? Really?
Please.
A more a more "loyal" FBI Director could have a significant impact on what the field agents are up to.
Trump has been clear that he fired Comey because of the Russian investigation. I say we take him at his word.
According to libs Trump believed the FBI would fold if he fired Comey.
BBM~~ to respond
Well, from what he said to his Russian Comrades in the Oval Office > that by firing the "Nutjob" took the heat off the investigation, pretty well describes that is actually what he believed!
