I actually thought that Mr. Biden's suggestion that Mr. Romney run for the Senate made good sense. Now, I did not vote for Mr. Romney, but I do feel like he would be a pretty good Senator representing Utah.
Mitt Romney just needs to give up on running for WH and concentrate on something he can win; like perhaps a senate seat from Utah.
And before anyone starts Senator Hatch isn't that popular with a good number of voters from his state saying it is time for new blood. Running for a senate seat in a majority Mormon state would give *Mittens* a good leg up, and certainly side step any unpleasantness from Christian far right.
MR ran for POTUS *twice* and lost, time to move onto something else. Besides you can be sure in 2020 many in the GOP won't have forgotten Mittens cozying up to DT looking for a place in His Orangeness's administration.
I agree that twice is enough for any candidate. I lost SO MUCH respect for Mitt Romney when, after ALL Trump said about him (basically that Romney got on his knees for Trump) that Romney then went crawling to Trump for a cabinet appointment that he was never going to get.
i want to hear Biden's justification for wanting that pos Romney to run for the Senate.
What makes Romney a "pos"
The guy is not my cup of tea either, but he seems like a decent person, with no skeletons in his closet.
As to why, who knows with Biden, as he can be kooky at times. He is obviously saying identity politics (something liberals love to play) would insure Romney would win in Utah because of his religion. That is the sad truth now days, that liberals cherry pick districts to run in based on race, gender, religion, etc.
Hillary was obviously a carpet bagger who had little connection to NY. Yet that is where she chose to run with no experience, knowing she could get elected in such a liberal state.
Ugh, you making this argument is always laughable, she got 3 million more votes than Trump, and lost the election because of 80,000 votes across 3 states.
If you actually had the ability to guess that, you wouldnt have been here post.
How silly. Hillary Clinton also won the Popular vote against Obama yet she didn't that nomination either.
You miss the point of what I said. Democrats have been devastated under Obama's leadership. And talking about the illegal vote in California doesn't change that.
