Biden encourages 2012 foe Romney to run for the Senate - POLITICO

Biden said that Hillary was "never a great candidate" and that she lost, because of her own doing.

He didn't mention Russia.

He also thinks that Mitt Romney should run for US Senate out of Utah.

Interesting to see Biden continue not to jump on the Democratic finger pointing bandwagon as he is rumored to be considering a 1 term run in 2020.

Finally some honesty from the Left. Russia had nothing to do with it. Hillary was a bad candidate that didn't excite her base. She was no Obama or even her husband Bill.
I think most people voted for her to block Trump and out of loyalty for the party.

It is pretty telling how unpopular she was when a total outsider can beat her. She may have won the popular vote but that was primarily due to winning California and New York.

I'm glad that "uncle Joe" is telling it like it is.

Hillary is a fool.

Post convention - Hillary literally spent more time in each individual state of New York, California, and Massachusetts, than she did in the combined states of Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin.

She literally spent more time in single individual states that she was guaranteed to win by millions of votes than she did in THREE crucial Rust Belt swing states combined.

Hillary just makes horrible choices as a manager, but then in true liberal form, she points the finger at everyone else.

80yo McCain at the Comey hearing = Biden in 6 years, he's now 74.

I love Uncle Joe but he's too close to his expiration date to take seriously as a future candidate for any national office.

70yo Romney might have enough good years left to handle one Senate term.

Biden is doing what is wrong with establishment politics. His argument is that Romney should move to somewhere that Biden believes he could win and run for Congress.

That is what Hillary did.

Romney should have won in 2012. The ACA would have long been fixed, and we wouldn't have become the clown show of the world.

She seems to make anyone else appear to be genius. This is what happens when all she can do is speak from a script. Every time she tries to speak a thought "deplorables" "iredeemables" "why am I not up 50 points?"... well... nuff said.

She was not campaigning in New York or California or Massachusetts, she was fundraising, something both Democrats and Republicans do in states they can not win or will win by a mile.

Arguing that she should have spent more time in the other 3 states is fine, but the comparison argument doesnt work because context matters
