Many threads have discussed this also but it didn't stop you.

A two-thirds majority vote will be required for conviction.

So, obviously, in the unlikely event Trump is impeached, he will beat any charges handily, just like every other president who has faced the same ordeal.

And nothing other than his acquittal by the Senate will happen. No riots, no civil war, nothing.

Period.

Except for the wailing and gnashing of teeth by the Lamestream Media.
Why would they. He has nothing but disgraced our great country.

The devil (as usually) will be in the details. Some will absolutely behave badly. Possibly even terrorist level badly. But that is a small portion. Tiny.

But then the details. #1 its Republicans who impeach him, lets not forget that at this point. If they are believed to have impeached him for invalid reasons...the right will go nuts. BUT...if the evidence is clear and plain, then...President Pence it is.

But there are alternative routes along the way. If Pence gets taken down as well. President Paul Ryan will be viewed as the ultimate deep state insider, and most of them will start pointing at him like its a conspiracy. Thats bad.

Only worse route? after 2018 the Democrats are looking likely to take the house. Trump and Pence gets impeached. The democrats have the third in line for the presidency. President Pelosi. Yeah. The right will go completely insane, and even many on the left will be horrified. Thats the nightmare scenario for EVERYONE.

This is my general take on it, too.

I'd rather we go ahead and get President Pence. Which we will if he's clean. And, I think he's clean.

This is the guy who won't even eat alone with a woman that's not his wife.

He's also a career politician. I suspect he's kept a respectable distance from being tarred with the wrong brush.

The violence has already started on the left. You understand this.

Military units loyal to Trump would surround the White House. General civil war would break out and the Dems need to remember who has the guns.

It will mirror the collapse of Russia and the average person would lose everything.

Oh please, there are no military units loyal to Trump. Yes, of course they are loyal and protect the president. Military has nothing to do with politics though. And for the record, they can't stand him.

No wonder you are living in a "state of chaos". Stop playing violent video games.

In this election cycle and the early months of presidency, we have had:

-The rigging of the DNC primaries, revealed though wikileaks
-The DNC head resign in disgrace
- The collusion of Donna Brazil with CNN to win Hillary a debate
-DNC operatives caught on camera bragging about sending operatives to Trump rallies to instigate violence
- Actual violence against Trump voters
-An assaination attempt against Donal Trump
- Death threats to electors
- Riots, violence, and property damage from leftist terrorists on the streets
- Our college campuses going full fascist and becoming places of violence
- The normalization from the media of images of killing our president
- An incessant drumbeat from the media regarding a completely fallacious investigation that we just definitively learned never existed, with the explcit purpose of overturning an election. - The illegal unmaking of reverse targeted Americans by Obama officials
- illegals and their supporters stupidly marching in the steets with Mexican flags in conjunction with signs that say "not my president."

If there is an impeachement, it is time for the violence to erupt. Republics die when the people no longer have the maturity to act in a manner that is is fair and just. The Democratic party in conjunction with the media, academia, Hollywood, illegals and terrorists, has completely corrupted and corroded this country almost to the point of no return.

Impeachment would be that point.
There's no possibility of a Civil War.
1- there's no Mason Dixon line, are you going to fight the residents in your own town and burn it down?
2- the South had a functioning government in place. There's nothing like that on the other side
3- you have no way to fund a war, you have no way to force registered republicans to fight for you

People just need to STOP being dramatic with the Civil War idea. There would probably be some initial violence and some people may die but the national guard would kill you all soon enough.
