Who is we?

The parents weren't responsible for where their kids would be educated?

they still honor roll...in public school.
A case of the apples falling far away from the tree.

You understand only a few in the community can go to those schools right?
I imagine you are against vouchers and charter schools.

Btw I know 3 kids came out of the hood, one going for her doctorate- another is a top RN at a huge hospital and the 3rd is a attorney, musician.. So you never know what talents are out there...
Many people feel that people having children they can't afford to support properly without assistance is a significant issue.

A lot of people DO say that & always have. Heard it when I was in private school (from my public school friends who lived in my neighborhood and/or were in my church youth group. They heard it from their parents & felt the need to let me know).

"Real world" meaning what, exactly? I never understood what was meant by that & still don't.

We certainly would not want them to learn terrible lessons like students who work harder than you might possibly be recognized for it over YOU. So we have to protect the feelings of these little snowflakes so they can become good liberals someday and protest things they cannot even understand because they are flat out stupid and ignorant.

Again, Catholic school for my 5 kids was the best investment I ever made.

Well, many Republicans pretty strongly believe that giving tax money on a equally provided basis to private schools as with public schools should be the biggest civil rights issue of this century.

It happens most everywhere. Degree matters. 1% is vastly different than 10%. And anytime the organization is aware of pedo priests yet moves them around, well that CANNOT be acceptable. PERIOD.

The Catholic church, to this day, moves around its Pedo Priests and teaches a false gospel. No thank you.

Don't need to send any child to a Catholic school. The Public Schools would need to be much much worse win hich in 90%+ cases, I do not see that as reality

You have no point. We are not going to go back to the 18th century way of life.

Well for some reason you never fail to jump into the pointless debate of private roads and bridges.

It's not pointless. It's fact. That you have to argue it worked in the 18th century shows you have no argument.

Huh. I live in a city with three high schools. All three had valedictorians and salutatorians. All three are public.
