$25 million isn't peanuts. No one pays that amount of money when they are innocent.

They do when their brand is being damaged. 25 mil is not much when it is doing damage to your billion dollar brand. Many companies pay settlements because it is cheaper in the long run.

I get it !!!

The point isn't to be truthful or accurate but promote ignorance for political purpose. This must be the humanities class and I was looking for accounting.

Saying only guilty people settle is like saying only criminals take plea deals.

...or, if you're innocent, you have nothing to worry about.

The innocent are convicted and sentenced to prison every day.

Settling for a large sum of money indicates you are guilty to most people, so either way it is damaging to your brand. I will take the word of thousands of his former students who sued and even former employees of Trump University who testified they thought it was a scam. High pressure sales tactics, high fees, bait and switch, sounds like the classic get rich quick scam. The name alone tells me its a scam. Trump U. sounds as legit as Phoenix University.

I remember the orange one bragging that he never settled. The man lies nonstop.

Regardless of the settlement, there really is no question that Trump U. was a scam to defraud people.

There were no legitimate attempts to fulfill the promises made to students in exchange for their tuition.

And there goes the Dems main hope of beating Trump in 2020
Maybe the investigators can check into the "gift" of a second mansion when Bernie had to be moved for crooked Hillary.

Unlike Sanders, Trump was actually convicted of defrauding thousands of students at Trump University and ordered to pay $25 million.

And the MORON IN CHIEF, still retains the same lawyer that has cost him millions in other lost cases, as well! This is the idiot who said several times while campaigning "he is smart", LOL!

I actually lost all faith in Sanders when he went belly-up for Clinton, after saying he would go "all the way", so I am not too surprised by this!

Prosecutors might also be looking into allegations that Sen. Sanders' office inappropriately urged the bank to approve the loan.
Weaver said, "The loan was approved by the financial board at the college."
Ms. Sanders, of distorting donor levels in a 2010 loan application for $10 million from People's United Bank to purchase 33 acres of land for the institution.
hmm? all this was in 2016 anyhow-
