How about proving there was any involvement by anyone which affected the results first.
Not so sure about that. During the election, I saw a lot of bumper stickers on trucks saying to lock Hillary up. No trial either. If it is good for the goose.................
The issue of money laundering has nothing to do with the election but whether Trump and his associates were engaged in money laundering, a criminal enterprise.
Because the Donald was known to be a high credit risk because he did not pay his debts and would renege on his obligations, no legitimate lenders would loan him money. That is why he went to Russia to loans. Those loans came from oligarchs. Like any loan sharks, these loans probably came with stipulations. What these stipulations were need to be investigated.
There is also the curious case when Trump sold his palm beach house for $95 million dollars to a Russian oligarch. This was way over Fair Market Value.
There is plenty to investigate with Trump and to get answers to.

It's clear that tRump is as nervous as a long tailed cat in a room full of rocking chairs. Something in his many ties to Russia is threatening to his empire. He may not have colluded with the Russkies to throw the election, but he may be in deep with Putin on financing his ventures.

But the idea is exposing deep divisions within the administration on the best way to approach Moscow in the midst of an ongoing investigation into Russian meddling in the U.S. elections. Many administration officials believe the U.S. needs to maintain its distance from Russia at such a sensitive time — and interact only with great caution. Germany isn't really a traditional friend, they were the enemy for many, many years. Remember the TWO world wars THEY started? BTW, Why was the Obama admin so eager to RESET relations with Russia?
Trump wouldn't allow our greatest enemy to tamper with our elections. Obama is an embarrassment to our nation.
Trump not only allowed it, he encouraged it, openly called for Russia to hack Clinton's email. Look it up. I'm not kidding.
Instead of saying he would have nothing to do with Wikileaks, that this was underhanded, dirty politics, he spoke of the leaks constantly, lied about what information was contained, and nodded along with "Lock her up" chants.
We'll have to see what comes out of the investigation, but at this point it looks like Trump openly encouraged the Russians and his staff was busy carrying water for them.
Plus, he does not appear to be the least bit interested in figure out who to keep it from happening again.
