Premiums were increasing at such a pace before ACA, that many business were dropping it for employees and offering them a lump sum instead. The rate of increase slowed a bit during ACA, but is on the rise again.
Gawdawful bill that will increase premiums for everyone and really hurt the most vulnerable.

It doesn't belong in the building of other nations either but that's never kept it out of that endeavor. A far better case "promote the general welfare" can be made for trying to improve our healthcare system than for lame attempts at building other nations.
Absolutely not. It looks like Obamacare II to me. As someone said earlier, the only option is to just flat repeal Obamacare.
No, the only option is to join the rest of the civilized, developed world and implement some form of universal healthcare like France, Switzerland, etc. and stop letting insurance companies and billionaires make a profit off of people's health.

Gonna be a long uphill slog trying to take profits away from those who own the lawmakers.
No, it is not. Getting the ******* government's hands out of my healthcare choices is the only option.
Sounds like you're a millionaire who can pay for your own medical expenses, including surgery and hospitalization. You don't want to be charged extra to help pay for the less fortunate. Hope you are able to hang onto your millions, that nothing ever causes you to lose your fortune or you'd be like the rest of us.
Gone are the days when the doctor would come to your house and you paid him $5.00. With all the medical advances it's much more complicated than that today and somebody has to be in charge of it.

I'm not a millionaire but a working middle class citizen and I agree with ChrisC.
I pay monthly insurance premiums so that if I need surgery or hospitalization the insurance company covers ~80% of the cost after my 2500$ deductible. That's what most people do.
Those less fortunate are receiving medical insurance (medicare) or medicaid or other tax payer insurance premiums paid for by the taxpayers so if they need to go to the doctor, dentist, need medications, surgery or hospitalization insurance covers ALL of the cost.
I dont want to be charged extra so more people can get free healthcare while I pay high premiums for crappy insurance.
