Haven't heard any updates about either.

Although, there's this:

...The Trump Organization has said it won't make new foreign deals while Donald Trump serves as America's 45th president. That didn't affect the Trump International Golf Club in Dubai's opening in February , while a previously planned Trump-branded golf course designed by Tiger Woods is still being built nearby.

Both projects are being built by Dubai's DAMAC Properties, owned by Emirati billionaire Hussain Sajwani. His company has paid the Trump Organization's subsidiaries between $1 million to $5 million for the projects, according to a US Federal Election Committee report submitted in May 2016. ...
Trump Organization looking at 'new ideas' in Dubai - Business Insider

Although President Trump probably doesn't even know about any of that after all:

Quote:
...President-elect Trump wants the American public to rest assured that all of his efforts are directed to pursuing the people’s business and not his own. To that end, as he explained a few moments ago, he directed me and my colleagues at the law firm Morgan Lewis and Bockius to design a structure for his business empire that will completely isolate him from the management of the company.

He further instructed that we build in protections that will assure the American people the decisions he makes and the actions that he takes as president are for their benefit and not to support his financial interests. ...

Trump’s Interests vs. America’s, Dubai Edition
Despite its pledge to avoid new foreign deals, the Trump Organization is moving forward with expansion plans in the United Arab Emirates.

Quote:
...President Donald Trump still has not taken the necessary steps to distance himself from his businesses while in office. In accordance with a plan that he and one of his lawyers, Sheri Dillon, laid out at a press conference on January 11, Trump has filed paperwork to remove himself from the day-to-day operation of his eponymous organization. However, numerous ethics experts have voiced strenuous objections to the plan, which they say does very little to resolve the issue: As long as Trump continues to profit from his business empire—which he does whether or not he is nominally in charge—they say, the possibility that outside actors will attempt to affect his policies by plumping up his pocketbook will remain very much in play. ...

No reasonable person could argue that Trump would not support nations that the Trump organization is doing business or wants to do business in.

It is his best interests that he is looking out for, not the nation's.

Agreed. 'Reasonable' is the key word. Mr. Trump's campaign strategies relied on taking the American people on a 'rollercoaster of emotions'. While that may've been successful as a campaign strategy, it's proving to be dysfunctional as doctrine.

He wanted a temporary 90-120 ban back in March to put new procedures in place but here we are in August and he is still fighting a complete battle. The supreme court is scheduled to hear this in 2 months, this tells me he wants to permanently ban refugees from those countries for 3 more years.

Pretty sad that he is taking out his bias on these people.

WASHINGTON — The Trump administration urged the Supreme Court Thursday to end the six-month legal battle over its immigrant and refugee travel ban by ruling that it's all about national security, not religion.
In an 84-page brief that served as the opening salvo in a Supreme Court case scheduled for oral argument two months from Thursday, the Justice Department argued that Trump's vow to ban Muslims during last year's presidential campaign is legally, if not rhetorically, irrelevant

It's also pretty sad that his actions often lead to chaos. From the linked piece:

Quote:
The saga began Jan. 27, when Trump issued an executive order titled "Protecting the Nation from Foreign Terrorist Entry into the United States." It suspended travel from Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen for 90 days, blocked all refugees for 120 days, and suspended travel from Syria indefinitely.

The action led to chaos at airports in the U.S. and overseas ...
