Why can't the collectivists themselves, or even the government that they worship, create a non-profit healthcare system for people to voluntary join? Those who feel that the government option is best for them can join that system, and those who feel that a competing system is best for them can join that.

See, no involuntary slavery, coercion, violence, or the threat thereof needed.

Why are the collectivists always so keen to impose their will upon others with thug government aggression???

If that non-profit is so beneficial and rewarding to all, then everyone would voluntarily join.

It was never about "joining". It's about somebody else paying.

You guys keep trashing republicans because they "don't care about the poor". So since you guys support funding the poor, I want to know how many people you are going to support out of pocket.

I'm looking for either a number of people (0, 1, 2, etc.), or a dollar amount.
Hey! You are the guys about taking care of your family, friends and neighbors. How many insurance policies do you pay for your friends and neighbors, or your family outside your nuclear one?

I would pay gladly, however I would still resent the likes of you who will still benefit from not having to walk around dying people or being in fear of poverty riding crime but they are stingy and don't want to spend a dime.

You don't want to pay any taxes that's not for national security. I hope you have thought of what to do about roads, streets, sewage system, giving an education to the middle class and those type of things. I guess you don't drive and live in the country on your own.

I am all to keep the government accountable for how they spend our money. But this is not 1776 and the majority of people don't live in farms 5 miles apart, common spending is actually the smart choice.

Exactly, it might be the Scottish heritage.

I pay more than most of them earn in a year in taxes and I am not such a whiny! I am proud of being able to contribute

I'm looking for a number. Not a story. How many people are you going to buy insurance for?

Here's a number: 0 or zero. The voters most likely to lose health coverage are in Trump supporting areas so let it happen.

Democrats, if "23 million lose their insurance", how many people will you buy insurance for?

I wonder how many of those purported 23-million (?) were actually paying anything for the free Obamacare they are now supposedly going to lose? The problem with Obamacare (as with many of the Dem plans) is they pander for votes from poor people, but, have no plan to pay for anything beyond increasing the burden on taxpayers ... who also vote!

There is a genuine need for healthcare for the poor in this country, but the left notion that "free give-aways for all" is the only answer... is a move toward socialism (which has failed wherever it has been tried). Inevitably, those promoting it, soon run-out of 'other people's money (and votes)!'

You mean imposing your personal will upon your neighbor with government goons is the "smart" choice. Hey believing that you have a Divine right to use aggression upon others to get what you want is okay. If it weren't for involuntary slavery and government aggression upon the individual, nothing would exist. We would all be immobilized and never interact with each other.

Without evil aggression, coercion, and violence by government goons upon the individual, the whole of the population would have never have produced a single road. LOL

Do you care about the poor? Or, is it me, myself and I.

Likewise, you try to deflect my question. I pay now through my taxes a lot of Medicaid help for others.
And pay 10% of income to several non profits mainly related to kids and women education. I used to give it to a church but the hypocrisy of organized religion is too much for me.

Now are you going to respond how many of your neighbors and friends do you pay for (not only insurance but anything at all) or do you prefer to love your money more?
