To the point of the thread. No I don't think legalizing pot means society is being corrupted.

That's only one variety and likely avoidable for most.

Yeah, life is just like the movies. I can't wait 'til NASA launches to the planet of the apes.

I've only visited Vegas a couple of times (family decision, not mine), and I pretty much hated it. A little dope would have helped a lot.

But you don't like that either. I predict you're going to be one sad puppy in about five years.

And BTW, in terms of party platforms, it was Libertarians who were first out of the gate on marijuana legalization.
it was the liberals that made it illegal in 1937

there are 1001 uses for cannabis, with out getting high

Yes, it is one useful plant.

That's not my love for smoking it talking either. I am fond of all plants, but have a special place in my heart for the plants that humans have had long-standing relationships with. I grow a lot of traditional medicinal plants in my garden - not because I use them, but just because they've been human "friends" for so long. I'd love to grow cannabis in my garden, but that's not legal - yet - in Washington.

I haven't read this thread, but some of the biggest proponents of legalization of marijuana are libertarians and not liberals.

So this is a thread fail.

The OP has pretty much disappeared from the discussion.

Or a switch to beautiful Lake Tahoe, where you could still enjoy a toke or two.
