If Republicans were worried about the debt or federal deficit they wouldn't be pushing for major tax cuts to corporations and the rich

Just heard the Donald blatting about "killing the AHCA" and replacing it. I don't think he realizes that the Senate voted (or actually they didn't because they didn't have the votes) and thus Obama Care is here to stay. The Senate is moving on to their summer vacation and then wants to try their hand at tax cuts for the wealthy. Health Care is done. All that is left is for the Prez to reinstate the funding for the pools which he pulled and it will go on. Throw in the funding, some advertising and encouragement that the plan is here to stay and things will be fine.

And the Donald can go on hating Obama over something else, but it can't be health care any longer. The Donald had his shot and he failed. Quite honestly, his deal making skills (sitting on his ass) have been shown to be...well, a fraud. Just about like everything else about this guy from the hair on down...

I'll wait.
Because the vast majority of senators were for it but it only three or four to revolt, and due to the fact no democrats were willing to help with it, the bill stalled.

Dems own this mess......

So this bill absolutely sucked. The majority of republicans voting for it were mainly doing so to stay in lock-step with their party (Dems do the same thing). A few republicans had the balls to stand up and figure they couldn't screw their constituents that badly. None of the dems wanted it because they know it stinks. That's not the dems owning it.

The only way the Dems would OWN it is if the republican plan was actually good--better than the ACA, with more positive predictions. If, at that time, the DEMS snubbed their nose to the detriment of their constituents, then and only then, would they own it.

While you are waiting ...... pick out the parts that you think would "fix" it. Susan Collins is exactly correct, remove one part, it begins to collapse. It like a giant bowl of spaghetti and the Democrats neglected to fund huge chunks of it. By "no funding" - I mean that the Federal Courts have said it is ILLEGAL to pay out money that has not been Voted on by Congress. In 2010, they didn't put that Funding in the ACA because even the Democrats would not have voted for it. They were ALL "Gruber'd" as were the American people.
I know that Republicans were really angry with the US Supreme Court decision about the ACA and Medicaid payments ..... I realized immediately that "remove one part" and it begins to "collapse" and so it has.

So... I rate YOUR post as FALSE.
So what is a credible source? A Pulitzer price-winning source that is widely known as to be truly independent is not good. What is?

i have a question. it might be in here somewhere but i can't go through all these pages of posts trying to find the answer. i started, but it's just too much. i'm sure it's on this site somewhere, or that i could find it by googling. but, i was just hoping someone could help me out and save me a little time and effort!

or maybe point me to where it has already been discussed?

how exactly is obamacare supposed to implode? what is supposed to happen? because it just seems to be getting worse and worse. what will it look like for it to "implode"? my insurance is just getting higher premiums and covering less, etc etc etc, just worse and worse every year. there does not seem to be an end in site.

so...what does it mean to just let it implode before something is done about it?

thank you in advance.

i'm serious. i don't understand what is supposed to happen. i can't pay more than i am paying. i really can't. i can't wait for it to just keep getting worse than it already is.

With all the false media and how Obama has changed rules prior to leaving office, liberals calling for impeachment and lying to their followers....just let this monster implode.

See how many Democrats will still have affordable health care.

Then come with a new bill and meanwhile some Republicans who are just a puppet on a string for anti Trumpers wil have moved out of office.

Let Obamacare die by itself!
Obviously, Dems do not respect the kindness of others to fix their own mess. If they had any honor to them, they would have fessed up for creating this disaster and worked with some modicum of humility with GOP lawmakers to forge a better solution. Can anything get done with Dem obstructionism or equally troubling, the time spent cleaning up after them.
