Trump supporters are the first to rave about how Donald Trump is causing positive things to happen, like a rising stock market, so how about them accepting responsibility when things go south ?

Under Obama, we were seeing record low gas prices, and they stayed down. In the past month or so, our gas prices locally went from $1.99, and overnight it jumped to $2.15. It slowly started to come back down, but they skyrocketed back up to $2.29, where it is staying right now.

What is up with that ? I thought Trump was going to make things better for us, or was he just interested in making his oil buddies more money ?

And this will hurt his toothless, mindless supporters the most.

The "coastal elites" ride in subways and the like. I live in NYC and don't even own a car. But Joe Sixpack in Ohio with his pickup, limited income and 50 mile commute will be harmed the most.

I detest Trump, but I will say what I say to everyone who blames the president on gas prices: He has little or no control over them. And this includes him.

Depends on the oil market, season (summer usually highest prices since people drive on vacations), refineries and, in my state, the state taxes. Ours are so high that the final price per gallon is about double as in other states.

Nice try, though.

Love how the Loony Left who complain about Trump's nonPC name calling love to indulge in the same pastime. At least Trump isn't a hypocrite. I suspect the Dems on welfare fit your description.

The elites all drive Teslas and hire helicopters to fly over the teeming masses below on their way to Republican and Democrat fundraising dinners.

Actually Chuck Beergut here in MI really doesn't care, my pick um up truck is a diesel so even though it might cost a little more, I get more MPG and only need to fill up once a month. Oh well, time to go...maybe I can catch some NASCAR on TV this afternoon...

Gasoline prices change seasonally due to supply, and demand. They will also change when there is political strife in areas that produce oil. It isn't Trump that controls the energy markets.
