I don't know if Trump is connected but Kushner and Manafort seem to be on shaky ground with their banking connections. We are already aware of some of the background but they are going to dig into everything. Trump may not be guilty of anything but he will have some character issues with all his shady practices. These lawyers are experts and they will be going through all his LLC's in more detail than the IRS.
They must believe a criminal act took place to convene a grand jury, I can see why they hired all those lawyers for the Trump administration the last several weeks.
Nothing they uncovered the last seven months has panned out since they are basing this case on Don Jr. meeting with the Russian honey pot. Even if Don Jr gets indicted based on this flimsy evidence, he will not be convicted since he will have defense attorneys who will bring in the connection of this chick to Fusion GPS and the DNC and be able to call witnesses. People on this forum don't know that a Grand Jury is for the prosecutor ONLY to decide if there should be a trial.
A Grand Jury doesn't always mean anything. There was a Grand Jury in the Hillary email probe. Let's not forget that any jury from DC will be pro-Dem. If they had a Grand Jury in West Virginia, this would go nowhere. It's political.
