My, but the number gets bigger and bigger! Now there are 40,000! There were probably about 15,000 protesters and they were normal looking and normal acting people.
Not according to the Boston PD, who had to beg the left-wing counter-protesters:

Indeed, they are. The left has been very prominently anti-free speech for well over a year now, on college campuses, rallies, etc... wherever anyone who doesn't share their fascist ideology tries to exercise their Constitutional Rights.

Many on the left are too stupid to realize that by giving anyone with whom they disagree this large of a venue, and by committing violent acts in the process, they're showing us all how fascist and dictatorial they are.
Both Nazis (National Socialists) and Marxists (by whatever name they call themselves) are collectivists, and as such, believe that the individual, living by whatever values, can always be suborned to the will of the group, as embodied by the state and given the power to coerce -- to confiscate property, liberty, even life itself, if the end is used to "justify" the means.
That is a far greater threat than any so-called "hate speech".
These guys are gonna go back to holding secret clandestine meetings in caves and wearing hoods at this rate. They know what awaits them in any large city. An ass kicking.

As a former library professional, we were 100% AGAINST banning of books and when I was in charge of a school library, there were parents who actually WANTED to ban some books. But we didn't do it. We are not in favor of censorship. MOST of us are in favor of freedom of speech.
You are sounding like you are really over the top with this. You could say "SOME on the left want to..."
That would be fairer. And we could say, "SOME on the right want to..." It's this stereotyping of people that's the cause of a lot of the trouble we're having.

And YOU shouldn't CATEGORIZE EVERYONE on the left as "not wanting to rename streets", etc.
It IS happening and only those on the left are initiating it and many on the left support it.
There is a story out that somewhere, i think Oregon, that a town name Lynch, after the founder a man named Lynch, is CHANGING ALL THE SCHOOLS which have his name in it.
In the middle of the night Baltimore, directed by the mayor WITHOUT ASKING THE CITIZENS, had EVER statue removed that had anything t do with the Civil War.
Show us just ONE story where the right is trying to change these names and want to have statues removed.
Thee is poll out stating that 62 % of Americans want the statues to STAY.
Why don't these liberal dem mayors follow what the people want?
