It was a basic conservative position that Iraq moved WMDs to Syria. They used it as a defense of the failure to validate the rationale for the war. They had no problem with Clapper saying that, none at all. They grasped at it greedily. It suited their narrative and defense of the war action.
Pretty sure you can be like Hitler and still in denial about your own. In fact, Hitler had some interesting "roots".
It is the manner he wields power that is comparable to other authoritarians, like Hitler. Not necessarily his choice of targets. No one has ever accused Trump of being rational or consistent. It is his use of scapegoats to build support and his use of rallies and choice of strategy advisors that invites the comparisons. And his angry, knee jerk attacks on anyone who dares to disagree with his words or policies. And his need to believe he has unlimited powers and the anger he exhibits when it turns out that he does not and cannot get his way. Hence the Twitter tantrums.
It all appeals to the the baser instincts of his followers. People that have a hard time acknowledging that their failures are their own. Failures to keep up with education and modern skills and failures of choice that have harmed themselves and their families. All the fault of shadowy conspiracies or secret societies of globalists or "deep states". But, never themselves.
Yes, "the left" must be "stupid" to understand nuance , instead of trite oversimplification.
His supporters are "brilliant", but somehow feel the need to compete with illegal aliens for economic scraps. And fear global competition, maybe because they are simply not up to it.
Everyone is delusional and should be locked up by his supporters standards. All of Congress, All the leakers from the Trump administration. All the former POTUS who have weighed in on the matter. The entire media (except Breitbart) and basically 70% of the population to hear them tell it.
Even if there is truth in that statement, it still does not deal with the truth of Clapper's statements.
I may agree with you on WMD and the lie that it was, but that is not the question before us.
the truth in Clapper's statements? LOL......Media still don't understand Trump's game: by responding emotionally to Trump's rip, they grant credibility to his case.
the MSM started this and Trump is fighting back........we have a dishonest media that is run by the corporatist's establishment pushing an agenda and ignoring real problems and being agitators , if you can't see that's part of the problem and dangerous then that's on you.
"The truth of Clapper's statements?" How can you possibly say that with a straight face? /ROFLMAO
What???, you disagree with Clapper's spot on observation in the same aforementioned interview:
Quote:
"This behavior and this divisiveness, and the complete intellectual, moral, and ethical void that the president of the United States exhibits — how much longer does the country have to, to borrow a phrase, 'endure this nightmare?'"
