McCain was described as anti-rules when he was young. Apparently McCain never grew up. He wanted to go against the grain just to be a nuisance and McCain loved to be a nuisance because he craved attention.
Saying that congress doesn't answer to the president isn't going against the grains. That's among the first rules ever written in the state.
There's a document, you've obviously never heard of, called the Constitution. In it, there's this concept of separation of powers.
The president does not dominate the government or the American people.
when does "answering to the American people" become "doing everything the Democrats want"?
I think the democrats are just pissed because Trump calls them out on their b.s.. Ever since Trump called out John for being a weak hero he's been pissed off. The media is pissed off about being called fake, and the democrats should be opening their eyes.
McCain says "get out of here you low life scum" lol That's his reply to the American people protesting war and killing. Such a kind old man.
Oh he is so much better than Trump. NOT
This media crap is what most democrats are answering too. This crap is all a joke. I'ts ridiculous.

The Democrats are overjoyed because Trump has stalled the GOP's legislative agenda because he's too inept to understand the details of the proposed legislation and he is unable to negotiate within his own party. Even better for the Democrats - Trump keeps attacking members of his own party and they are attacking him back.
Oh Look Another trumpling showing the world their inner self. You do know that coming after someone else here because someone else dies makes no sense what so ever and is more of a commentary about who You are than anything else. Haters do what they do best, Hate.
What "inner self"?
Maybe you should check his posting history. He is a former Marine who does not like any politicians who are war mongers. Nothing more or less.

Of all the scumbag comments Donald Trump has made (and they are numerous) the comment he made about McCain not being a hero was about as low as they got. While Donald Trump was comfortably sitting home nursing a bad left or right heel, and partying, John McCain was fighting to keep Trump's sorry ass safe. McCain endured unspeakable tortures that would have had Donald Trump crying like a baby. Hell, Trump can not even take criticism without whimpering like a 2 year old, so he has no room to talk about McCain.
Donald Trump is a pig, and you can put all the lipstick on it you want, and he is still a pig. In fact, a pig has more class and so much more of everything than Donald Trump that we need to apologize to the pig for comparing the two.

John McCain is back, returning to Washington with a message for his colleagues in the age of President Donald Trump.
McCain picked up Friday where he left off, before going home to Arizona to begin cancer treatment, insistent as ever that Congress must exercise its role as a check on executive power, even if that means going against the leader of his OWN Republican Party.
Congress must govern with a president who has no experience of public office, is often poorly informed and can be impulsive in his speech and conduct," McCain wrote in an op-ed in The Washington Post
"We must respect his authority and constitutional responsibilities. We must, where we can, cooperate with him. But we are not his subordinates. We don't answer to him. We answer to the American people," McCain went on.
"We must be diligent in discharging our responsibility to serve as a check on his power. And we should value our identity as members of Congress more than our partisan affiliation."
While I agree with McCain's train of thought here our government doesn't answer to anyone unless their is money involved or something to gain from it.
IF your party is doing something you know IS wrong then he's right again you have to take a stand.
Too bad he sold out his own constituents on Obamacare after running on repeal and replace.
