I don't understand how anyone can take issue with what he said. We elect our senators and congress people to represent us, then we decide whether to re-elect them. Of course they answer to us and not potus.

And then by chance if this were to somehow lead to a nuclear exchange, he'd go down below/underground into one of the lavish, state-of-the-art facilities, while all the proles would have to face chaos and destruction above.

It was a turd of a healthcare bill. If it was so wonderful, why did it come down to ONE VOTE to get it passed ? It should have had everyone on board, if it was better than Obamacare.
Donald Trump couldn't get his signature promise passed because he had nothing. He bragged that Obamacare was going to be replaced with something "beautiful and wonderful", and that was all it was, bragging.

This isn't about spite. This is simply about McCain not voting for a bill he thought was even worse. It was a bill so bad, Republican Senators asked Ryan not to take it up in the House because they did not want to see it become law.
Some of you really missed the point of this thread no big surprise I guess. It doesn't matter what one thinks of McCain or which party your a member of. What matters is that he's dead right when it comes to his statement about the President he's supposed to work for the U.S/America you remember the country you all claim to love so much. The President and those under work for us not the other way around.
