Senate candidate Roy Moore this year suggested 9/11 might have been punishment for US turning away from God - CNNPolitics

Agree or disagree? Was 9/11 caused by the evil ideology that is radical Islam or was it punishment from an angry God on a nation that tolerated (though barely at the time) LGBT people? Never mind the fact that in 2001, there was no gay marriage and you could still go to jail in Baptist strongholds like Texas and Oklahoma for merely being gay.

Of course not.

There are so many levels of crazy in this meme that I can't begin to list them all.

What do the Atheists say?

It was caused by America's foreign policy.

Not an atheist, but this is spot on.

If someone says "yes" to this poll, I may stab myself in the eye.

While I don't agree with Moore, I would not use his comments as a basis to vote against him either. Instead, I would look at his prior public record and vote based on that (and on his platform).

Start stabbing.

I can't believe someone would say yes, well, yes I can. The fanatics are everywhere these days. They've come out of the darkness and try to spread their ignorance. Very sad indeed.

So God is only concerned about homosexuality? There aren't any other sins punishable by death and destruction? I wonder what we would find if we looked closely at this candidate.

Prior public record? Like being removed from elected positions TWICE?
