Does this actually sound smart when you hear it inside your head? Duels were agreed to by both parties in advance. There were rules. It was nothing at all like just suddenly walking up and punching someone.
Something tells me I should have stopped "debating" this person many replies ago. But heck, it's like chipped tooth that you can't stop flicking with your tongue.

He quite possibly could be the dude who punched that guy out.

Ahh, trying to get his story straight for court I see.
See what had happened was I faked a punch so dude knew we was about to fight...and by not running away he was telling me to test his chin with my best running start punch. Ya feel me?
Read before you post. I wasn't talking about the incident right there, I was taking about the "might is right" philosophy. The guy said it was sharia law, but it's not, it's actually traditional American culture.
It's traditional American culture? Really, because it's the first I've heard. Where were the protests about the ubiquitous criminal act of assault being added to the books, since it's violating traditional American culture?
You're kind of missing the point about duels, the point wasn't that you were prepared to do violence, the point was to demonstrate personal risk to regain honor. Further they always required personal insult (by word or action) not general statements. They've also been illegal in all states since 1859 and IIRC Hamilton - Burr happened in a different state because New Jersey was not aggressively prosecuting duels but Burr was still indicted for Murder in New York and New Jersey.
This kind of behavior isn't going to solve the bigger issue. In fact, it will only make it worse. Also, for those that think this was justified, would you still think so were this a female nazi? Is it okay to hit a woman if she's a nazi?
Look obviously we have laws against assault for a reason, but I'm not going to pretend I don't enjoy Nazis getting punched, male or female.
Didn't read through all this but yeah, Assault is assault. The NAZI dude sounds like an idiot for doing that, but you can't just decide what's offensive and makes it OK to assault someone. That opens a whole can of worms.
Dude should get a reward for knocking out that Nazi scum. On the other hand, President " Snowflake " and his robotic flock have to be fuming about it. LOL!
Dude should been decked to the floor for punching someone unprovoked.

Am I the only Indiana Jones fan in here?....
