I would if we could afford it. Without controlling the astronomic bills that doctors & hospitals will send the gov't, it will bankrupt us.

Im not for eliminating safety, I'm for eliminating the govt version. Govt safety kills.
Nobody is going to develop new drugs they are not going to be able to make money on.

Well, not always. The new Ebola vaccine was developed in a Canadian government lab in my city. Then it was turned over to a drug company to develop further and bring to market.

Do you want DMV, or VA style health care, then turn it over to government.
Funny how right wingers focus on the VA and not Medicare in a "Medicare-for-all" system. Why is that? The VA has been lacking funds as a result of massive war spending supported by the right wingers. More wars=more injured. You like your wars but dont want to pay for the consequences. Then you can whine about how the VA is "broken" and needs to be privatized. While enjoying your Medicare.

Since the ACA looks like it will fail, and Repeal and Replace is not going forward it looks like Single Payer will some day become a reality.

What do you think?
Yes. The entire system of employer-based insurance is failing. Employers are hiring more and more part time workers and independent contractors so that they won't have to provide same. This is only going to increase in the coming years.

Let's divorce insurance from our particular employment situation.

Maybe WAR needs to be privatized so the soldiers and officers get to share the loot. Mankind has done that before.

He likely didn't pay into it nearly as much as he will take.

No one has come up with a method of paying for it. Several states have either tried it or considered it, and each one dropped it because they couldn't pay for it.

If you can't afford it, you probably shouldn't buy it.

The data from that phase is used by the drug company to determine dosage in Phase II.

This site has details of the drug trials in the U.S. and around the world: https://clinicaltrials.gov

When seeking a new drug approval, the drug company submits the results of its clinical trials for review by the FDA. Based on the clinical trial results, the FDA will make a decision.
again another person talking about high costs and length of time for approval while ignoring the govt component that it makes it so.
