Very much liked President Trump's address to the nation.

If only he took that tone humble and fatherly always, that would be so great.

ISIS seems to have claimed this as an ISIS terror attack! It is all over Twitter and AP.

Exactly, I get worried that we are watering down the true meaning of terrorism, or that its being used more as a political tool. Terrorism is bigger than a glorified serial killer.

1 guy took out 50 people. Think about that. Its like this country is one big insane asylum. Can't go to a concert, club, school, movies or pray in church without worrying about savages like this guy.

Ya, have to say I cringe when he goes online but this one was very good. He's learning.

I had to check this thread just to see how quickly it would breakdown into a left wing/right wing-liberals vs conservatives complete with the usual misinformation and snarkiness.

Lets get back to the tragedy at hand and start being part of the solution, part of the healing process.

Which only saddens me more, because the tragedy is loss of life, murder, mass shootings

The country should come together, for the sake of the victims, their families, and their community.

I dont really give a R. rattus distal alimentary canal who the shooter was, what political affiliation he was, what color his robe was...... What I wish is that this Never Happened, and I ask what we as humans, as a nation and as concerned citizens can do to promote peace and hqrmony to help prevent this as much as can be prevented.

I agree....partly.

I think all the time about how we are going to heal this rift.

Please be aware, when you automatically bring NBC into the picture without equally blaming FOX news you are not really helping either.

The mainstream media IS I agree divisive, but we need to address the divisiveness happening on ALL sides.

Every few days I take a look at all news stations. This is something we all need to do. Recognise that this divide is being stoked from all sides.
