Maybe you should admit that the UK is not as safe as you claim.

Maybe you can offer mayors and police chiefs in these cities some suggestions on how to address gun violence. Which laws are they not enforcing, the US is one of the most incarcerated countries in the world and you seem to think that that jail sentences are a deterrent, do you have any facts to back that up.
How about trying tougher restrictions in states that are a source of guns for criminals in many cities.

Compared to most of the world, the UK is a very very safe place to live, and the murder and violent rime rate has fallen steadily since 2003, indeed it's halved, and the CSEW shows a continued fall. There has also been a new crackdown announced and the gangs are being systematically shut down by units Trident and Gang Crime Command ,which took out one of the major gangs the other day, using over 200 officers and taking members off the streets as part of Operation Viper.

Organised crime and gangs who supply drugs operate in most large cities, and the police and National Crime Agency are wise to them and publish annual reports regarding organised crime activity. New laws including those related to money laundering and unexplained wealth orders wil help bring down the senior gang members, and new violence reduction legislation coupled with greater powrrs of stop and search will help hamper the streets gangs.

A further more controversial way to stop gangs may be simply to provide free heroin and other drugs to addicts on the NHS, thereby making the price of drugs plummet, which will have a knock on effect on orgasnised crime and strett gangs.

The UK has a population of roughly 65 million.

So basically, it's...a fifth the size of America?

We've been through this.

In Northern Minnesota basically EVERY home has a firearm, and there are RARELY a gun-implemented homicide.

So again, this is not a gun problem, it is a cultural problem.

I agree, But there is a lot of violence in the UK. The poster was not willing to admit that.
