This has nothing to do with abortion. It has a lot to do with preventing abortion, which surprisingly is not a top priority among Conservatives like I thought it was.

The conservative agenda makes no sense. Make it more difficult to obtain birth control. Reduce funding for Planned Parenthood. Defund teen pregnancy prevention programs. And then make changes to Obamacare and the social safety net that primarily impact women and children, that will reduce pre-natal and post-natal care, increase America's already extremely high maternal and infant mortality rate, and make caring for children even more difficult. It makes no sense. It shows that the agenda is just power and control over, or hatred or something for women and children.

Stop the freebees in general. Do you know what a deficit is? Besides I don't believe my tax dollars should be used for abortions, pay for it yourself!

No one is asking for it to be free. We pay insurance premiums. We just want it offered and covered. Why should an employer be able to say whether MY insurance should cover MY birth control?

Condoms are over the counter and don't cost anything. Birth control pills have to be prescribed by a doctor.

If you're going to comment, educate yourself. This isn't about the government paying for birth control or abortions.

That is not what this rule change is about. It does not even mention cost.

The new rule offers an exemption to any employer that objects to covering contraception services on the basis of sincerely held religious beliefs or moral convictions. It's not about cost.

to which I ask: what is so immoral about birth control?

And we're paying the premiums for medical care. No one is asking for free BC from an employer.
