From The Hill -

"Before the Obama administration approved a controversial deal in 2010 giving Moscow control of a large swath of American uranium, the FBI had gathered substantial evidence that Russian nuclear industry officials were engaged in bribery, kickbacks, extortion and money laundering designed to grow Vladimir Putin’s atomic energy business inside the United States, according to government documents and interviews.

Federal agents used a confidential U.S. witness working inside the Russian nuclear industry to gather extensive financial records, make secret recordings and intercept emails as early as 2009 that showed Moscow had compromised an American uranium trucking firm with bribes and kickbacks in violation of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, FBI and court documents show."

Will this become a major scandal? Oh heck no. It should, but the MSM is too intent on trying to prove the Russian fairy tale. And anything involving Obama will be ignored anyway.

So Russia has been involved with US affairs since 2010 including trying to influence the 2012 election.
The previous administration kept a lid on it for 7 years but once they lost the WH THEN they decided to start all these investigations pointing to Trump.

They don't care about the US. All they care about is winning elections.

Okay. And who else? Because they had to buy a bunch of people off, per your logic.

That is the thing that should dispel any conspiracy theory about Russian Collusion in the election.

Trump is an unpredictable loose cannon but Hillary has proven over the years that she knows how and is very willing to play "the game".

I doubt we will hear anything about this or anything else that might be found in the back of Obamas closet. That is old news and no one cares except people who are pro Trump and will bring things like this questionable scandal up when they are trying to deflect from their dear leader.

They would rather hear about Trump and the NFL.

Default Russia, Uranium, Obama, Clinton, Collusion

Think about the investigation, coverage, and media time spent on Trump, Russia, and the election - which was netted a big zero.

Now read this entire article about the evidence that the FBI had and held back from Congress - because there is so much there that I can't highlight all of it here.

This is the sleight of hand performed by the media and the government. Get everyone focused on A and B, while C, D, E, F, and G are illegal actions that are covered up because they are on the same team.

...
They also obtained an eyewitness account - backed by documents - indicating Russian nuclear officials had routed millions of dollars to the U.S. designed to benefit former President Bill Clinton's charitable foundation during the time Secretary of State Hillary Clinton served on a government body that provided a favorable decision to Moscow, sources told The Hill.

The racketeering scheme was conducted "with the consent of higher level officials" in Russia who "shared the proceeds" from the kickbacks, one agent declared in an affidavit years later.

There was a article on even NYT about how money flowed in to Clintons. Muller is sitting on huge pile of dirt on Russia but still can't find it. Ironically it is Muller who started this bribery instigation in 2009. I doubt we see anything about this from DOJ and Congress . Hill and Politico are doing good job of exposing both sides when rest of the MSM are justifying one creature over other.

Unless this is all part of the long term plan.

And WHERE is the evidence "a controversial deal in 2010 giving Moscow control of a large swath of American uranium" was ever made? Moscow did purchase a 20% stake in a Canadian mining company but WHERE is the evidence it gained control of "a large swath" (and, just WHAT the hell constitutes a "large swath"?) of American uranium?

Seriously ...? This has been discussed numerous times here.

If you need a refresher, here you go.

The Clinton Foundation received millions from investors as Putin took over 20% of US uranium deposits

Here’s the high-level summary. There are more details below.
• Canadian company Uranium One owned uranium mines in the US and Kazakhstan.

• Uranium One's mines account for 20% of the uranium mined in the US. Uranium is used for nuclear weapons, and it's considered a strategic asset to the US.

• Russia’s state-owned atomic agency, Rosatom, bought a 17% stake in Uranium One in June 2009.

• The Russian atomic agency decided it wanted to own 51% of Uranium One in June 2010. To take a majority stake in Uranium One, it needed approval from a special committee that included the State Department, which Hillary Clinton led at the time.

• Investors in Uranium One gave money to the Clinton Foundation starting in 2005 and through 2011. On June 29, 2010, Bill Clinton was paid $500,000 to speak in Russia by an investment bank with ties to Russia's government that had a buy rating on Uranium One’s stock.

• In January 2013, despite assurances to the contrary, a subsidiary of Rosatom took over 100% of the company and delisted it from the Toronto Stock Exchange.

• Clinton was required to disclose all of her foundation's contributors before she became secretary of state, but the Clintons did not disclose millions of dollars donated by the chairman of Uranium One while the review of the deal was ongoing.
"Uranium One's chairman used his family foundation to make four donations totaling $2.35 million," The Times reports. "Those contributions were not publicly disclosed by the Clintons, despite an agreement Mrs. Clinton had struck with the Obama White House to publicly identify all donors. Other people with ties to the company made donations as well."
