#fakenews
Globalism is more of a threat to the environment than ANYTHING ELSE! If you notice, nobody is talking about that because it makes the elites rich. They want US to lower our standards so they can keep the globe killing globalism pumping along so they continue to get rich and create slaves.

I don't doubt for a second that the climate is changing from the amount of pollution that is dumped into the atmosphere. That said, since we don't have climate records going back 10,000 years there is no real way to know how much of the problem we see today is man-made and how much may be cyclical over the course of time. It may be a combination of both.

Until countries like China and India get on board and clean up their acts, there will continue to be problems. The best efforts of the U.S. and other industrialized nations will help, but you're still stuck with two big offenders.

This planet has survived far, far, far worse calamities than mankind. So much drama that means absolutely nothing.

The Earth will be circling the sun as healthy as can be a billion years after mankind is dust.

I used to work for an oil pipeline company. Very few people know that oil is actually a good fertilizer if it’s treated. We would suck up a spill from a leaking line and then spread chemical on it and pay the farmer to plow it in. He got his best crops where we spilled oil for years to come.

You’re right. But solving that crisis did not threaten big oil, and these corporations have an unlimited amount of money to throw at disinformation and fake news. It’s common knowledge that this campaign has turned a scientific argument into both a political and economic argument, and those are two topics that conservatives feel comfortable discussing, unlike anything scientific, which they have no concept of. That is why you always have a chorus of skeptics, because they feel comfortable discussing the disinformation they heard on a multitude of conservative media sites.

It is also not true.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey (USGS), the world’s volcanoes, both on land and undersea, generate about 200 million tons of carbon dioxide (CO2) annually, while our automotive and industrial activities cause some 24 billion tons of CO2 emissions every year worldwide. Despite the arguments to the contrary, the facts speak for themselves: Greenhouse gas emissions from volcanoes comprise less than one percent of those generated by today’s human endeavors.
