Looks like that is a possibility...local news just reported that Franken will be making an announcement tomorrow.

This is the important thing to remember when democrats start crowing about sacrificing one's own in the name of morality. If Franken resigns he gets replaced with another democrat. There is no senate seat at stake. It's an easy "sacrifice" to make. In return there will be demands that the right abandon Roy Moore...of course in that case the difference, and the only thing that matters here, is that the democrats would gain a normally safe GOP senate seat.

The prudent thing for the GOP to do would be to sit back and let Moore win. Let Moore be seated in the senate, and then, if they must, call for him to resign or be removed, so he can be replaced by another republican. Maybe there could even be a recall election, but make sure that seat is established as a red one after next week's election.

Even DNC Chairman Perez is calling for Franken to resign. Hearing word that Franken will hold a press conference tomorrow.

This is a preemptive self bloodletting by the DNC to prevent a massive PR nightmare and election disaster from what's coming down the pike shortly. They're purging their own ranks to get a handle on the situation when the real sexual abuse bombshells drop and the nation looks on at them with total disgust and outrage. They're hoping they can separate and isolate the main party from the pervs and monsters they've sheltered for so long. And its not just the dems, although they've been the worst offenders.
Even the Clintons are being cut out from the herd so you know this is going to be huge. And Hollywood is going through the same process so they're in the same boat as well. And there have been some major shakeups in the eltite 1% ruling families. Deaths and coups. Get your torches and pitchforks ready, folks.

And of course the big difference is that fellow Democrats call on Franken and Conyers to resign, while Trump endorses Roy Moore and his fellow Republicans stay silent. Has anyone called for Blake Farenthold's resignation, after he used $84,000 of taxpayer money to settle a sexual harassment claim?

The righties jumping gleefully on this really need to take a good hard look in the mirror.

I happened to glance at the TV screen 1 hour and 20 minutes after the post above ^^^^^ (so 12:53pm CST) and noticed that the total had climbed to 21.

About an hour after that...so about 1:53pm CST (about 15 minutes ago)...I heard on the radio in the car that the total still = 21.

Good riddance to bad trash. If this left wing loser resigns it will be a victory for all Americans. Unfortunately it will be short-lived because I'm sure another extremist liberal will be appointed in his place.

Default Report: Franken to resign

What will be the GOP's excuse to still support Moore now?
