I do understand that, but you have to look at it like this. They will need hard evidence to corroborate anything Flynn says or he might as well just be lying if it nothing can be proven. Normally when someone spills the beans on someone it's about what's currently going on and evidence can still be found. In this case the evidence existed in a conversation a long time ago, the physical evidence is gone if they didn't capture it with their surveillance and wire tapping and if they did, they wouldn't need Flynn and they would have fully charged him. Flynn's testimony will be nothing more than he said she said and will be thoroughly challenged and possibly not even used at all if it can't be verified which again, will be almost impossible since the evidence was spoken word and not a tangible object or document, etc. So what this looks like to me is just garden variety stuff that Mueller is trotting out to save the reputation of this entire dog and pony show. The charges they got on everyone so far didn't warrant a special counsel. Those charges are handled every day by the FBI. We ALL have to wait and see what happens, but it looks like nothing to me so far.
Sorry to burst your balloon, but Muller would not have let Flynn slide on the other charges if Flynn had nothing to offer.
As I said in the other thread, if you think Mueller shaved 59+ years off of Flynn's potential prison time to get some unverifiable and easily challenged vague testimony, you're a fool. Mueller got something big in exchange for Flynn keeping his son out of prison and himself to a very limited sentence. We will eventually find out what it is, but common sense should tell you its not going to be some "he said, she said" garbage.
This. In spades. Mueller's an old hand at this thing, Team Trump are rank amateurs. Mueller undoubtedly got more than his money's worth out of Flynn, figuratively speaking.

Mueller's remit is not to find out whether or not Trump did anything wrong, but rather explore Russian interference with the election and see if anyone committed a crime related thereto. So Mueller isn't going to come out and say "Trump is innocent" no matter what because that isn't his job. There will either be more charges or no more charges.

Let's see. Those indictments. Manafort did his crimes while OBAMA was in office and Mueller, Holder, Comey and Lynch ran the DoJ/FBI and was working for the DEMOCRATS with the Podesta brothers. That doesn't look good for them at all.

NOBODY on this thread knows exactly what’s going on. You have no proof that this is a nothing burger because you are not privy to the inner workings of the investigation.
So, why the rush to end the investigation? Why is the Administration fretting over it? They’re actually obsessed. Everyone else is just waiting for the investigation to conclude and Trump just wants the whole thing to go away. WHY?
Let Mueller finish his work. If the president is innocent, why rush it? What is the President worried about?

Huh? You know that's not how the justice system works here in the real world, right? This isn't about an agenda. Look I know Cheeto VonTinyhands has blown so much smoke up your ass that your head looks like a chimney, but this is about actual truth.
