This was obviously how they were going to rule. Those countries should put a ban on American's in return.
You are absolutely right. This was obviously how they were going to rule. Because the president is well within his power to institute this policy. Now, with that being said, I have a question for you. Are you actually angry about this travel ban, or, like so many people, are you just generally against anything President Trump does? This is an honest question, because over the last year I have encountered so many people who would disagree and be angry at Trump if he said the sky is blue on a sunny day. Blind hatred and opposition to anything the man says/does seems to be "par for the course" for many Americans these days, and it's truly ridiculous. However, if you actually do take issue with the travel ban for any other reason than "Trump did it" I'd like to hear it. Because from many people's point of view, allowing people from these countries into the US at this time is a risk that we simply don't need to take. Not to mention that this is not the first time, nor will it be the last time, that a ban on travel to and from certain countries has been put in place. Yet for some reason, it's a big problem now. I'm sorry, but most people are not against this policy, they are against the man who has put the policy into action.
PS. For those who would love to call this a Muslim ban, I submit to you that as of the 2010 census, there were 50, that's right, 50 Muslim-majority countries in the world. The travel ban affects 6 countries. Which means the ban only affects around 12% of the Muslim countries in the world. Muslim ban? No.
This is not about an individual country, or even a particular group of countries. It is about the limits of presidential power. That is, is Mr Trump’s EO as President within the constitutional limits of his power? Similarly, Mr Obama’s EO on DACA. Both are big picture. Your last comment is not.

I hope you're right and we will be protected from those thousands of Iranian and Somalian terrorists.
You bet. Look at Norway, they're so racist, why can't I just fly on a plane and become a citizen? America is evil and racist and unequal, please save us from the American oppression Norway.

Excellent point, the piracy off Somalia is out of control.
I assure you we have more than met our moral obligations for the Iranian and Somalian immigrants already in this country. How about we try taking care of the folks in this country before we worry about folks from other countries, eh?
It's called "America first." What a novel concept for the left. I certainly haven't seen you opening your doors to any refugees.
Roll your eyes, stomp your feet, but these terrorism-wary Americans, you sure won't beat!
Yes, Iran as of 2017 was still considered the world's leading sponsor of terrorism. So more than likely there are thousands of Iranian terrorists at work around the world as we speak. So I'm thrilled that you are on board and hoping that the ban goes into full affect in June.

I think it's politics and will accomplish nothing positive but he can do it.

If I was arguing "I am against anything he does no matter what", I wouldn't argue that he has the legal right to do this.

Which pretty much enforces my above statement, that it accomplishes nothing.

Visa restricted countries have been around before you were born. This is nothing new.
