lol

That would have carried Trump into his 3rd term !!!!

Let the Trumpers enjoy their "winning" for now. But in the end, we will be the ones celebrating. I'm gonna troll Trump supporters so hard when Little Hands Donny is eventually impeached or steps down, I might get banned LOL.
When the Leftists lose both the New Republic and the Atlantic ...... you know they are in trouble.

The Democrats’ Dangerous Obsession With Impeachment - The party needs to focus on winning elections, not removing Trump. |New Republic - 12/5/17

The impeachment frenzy has gone so far that even the normally sober Ezra Klein, Vox’s founder, argued last week that impeachment be normalized as a regular procedure in American democracy.

While it is true that Trump is “extremely bad at the job of president,” using that as grounds for removing him from office would be revolutionary, moving the criteria from the constitutional requirement of “high crimes and misdemeanors,” which is already vague, to the utterly nebulous and subjective “extremely bad.” Klein recognized that normalizing impeachment would turn it into a political weapon

The impeachment enthusiasts should pull back. For both practical and political reasons, this is the wrong remedy for the Trump presidency, even if we stipulate that he has been “extremely bad” and has committed “high crimes and misdemeanors.”

The American public will never agree that a President (of either party) should be Impeached because a Political Party "doesn't like" him/her - not to mention that the "I don't like him" Impeachment will NEVER pass the Senate by a 2/3's Majority. Nancy Pelosi is well aware of this and it's why she has been attempting to get them to just shut up - a Party can't win on a message that says "Impeach Trump".

Clinton committed perjury and obstruction of justice. Those are both actual crimes and there was concrete evidence of both having been committed.

Today's "indictment" was two articles:
Quote:
Article I – Associating the Presidency with White Nationalism, Neo-Nazism and Hatred

 Donald J. Trump issued a public statement characterizing anti-Semites, bigots, racists,
white nationalists, and Ku Klux Klansmen who rallied in Charlottesville, Virginia as “very
fine people.” Not a crime

 Donald J. Trump did not issue a public statement when these hate groups returned to
Charlottesville, Virginia chanting “You will not replace us!” He did, however, issue several
statements related to players in the National Football League exercising their
constitutionally protected right to protest. Not a crime

 Donald J. Trump shared three videos from a British right-wing extremist that purported to
show various violent acts committed by Muslims. The videos were found to be inaccurately
titled and characterized. Not a crime

Article II – Inciting Hatred and Hostility

 Donald J. Trump issued Executive Order 13769, which caused a partial shutdown of
immigration from Muslim countries. Not only not a crime, but perfectly within the purview of the office of the President, so says the Supreme Court an the US Constitution

 Donald J. Trump issued a public statement that transgender individuals are banned from
serving in the United States military. Not only not a crime, but perfectly within the purview of the office of the President and Commander in Chief

 Donald J. Trump made a public statement referring to professional football players as “sons
of *******,” therefore denigrating them and their mothers, for exercising their
constitutionally protected right to protest. Not a crime

 Donald J. Trump made a public statement that after being devastated by a Category 4 and
Category 5 hurricane, Puerto Ricans “…want everything done for them when it should be
a community effort,” inciting racial tensions around the stereotype that people of color
need or want handouts. Not a crime

 Donald J. Trump made a public statement that after being devastated by a Category 4 and
Category 5 hurricane in one week, Puerto Ricans had “…thrown our budget a little out of
whack.” Similar statements were not made by Mr. Trump about Texas or Florida, which
were also devastated by hurricanes in September 2017. Not a crime

 Donald J. Trump issued a public statement referring to Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL-24),
a female, African-American Member of Congress as “wacky” and called her a liar. Not a crime

 Donald J. Trump issued a public statement referring to Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL-24),
a female, African-American Member of Congress as “wacky” a second time. Not a crime

 Donald J. Trump issued a public statement referring to Rep. Frederica Wilson (D-FL-24),
a female, African-American Member of Congress as “wacky” a third time. Not a crime
My comments in green

Basically, because Green disagrees with Trump's speech, he wants him impeached. Exactly none of the "articles" or points made therein constitute a crime, or anything else besides perfectly legal free speech and executive actions as President.

And 58 people actually voted yea that yes, he should be indicted for a) doing his job legally, constitutionally and properly and b) using free speech in a manner they dislike?

Doing your job according to the law is not a crime, nor is free speech that others dislike. Perjury is a crime, and so is obstruction of justice. So there is a vast difference between the two "impeachments" and any fool with eyes can see that.

A. What was the obstruction of justice for? The perjury?

And B

The perjury charge was for a question that shouldn't have been asked

The POTUS doesnt have to commit a crime to be impeached:

https://www.theatlantic.com/politics...le-one/542841/

I, Donald John Trump, do solemnly swear that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States; and will, to the best of my ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, so help me God.

Whereas the Constitution of the United States reads in part, “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievances.”

Whereas Trump has responded to news coverage he dislikes by advocating that the freedom of the press be abridged by bureaucrats and legislators; and by calling the press a public enemy and a target of his “drain the swamp” agenda.

For example:

“It’s frankly disgusting the way the press is able to write whatever they want to write and people should want to look into it.”
“Network news has become so partisan, distorted and fake that licenses must be challenged and, if appropriate, revoked. Not fair to public!”
“With all of the Fake News coming out of NBC and the Networks, at what point is it appropriate to challenge their License? Bad for country!”
“Why Isn’t the Senate Intel Committee looking into the Fake News Networks in OUR country to see why so much of our news is just made up-FAKE!”
“Drain the Swamp should be changed to Drain the Sewer - it’s actually much worse than anyone ever thought, and it begins with the Fake News!”
“With all of its phony unnamed sources & highly slanted & even fraudulent reporting, #Fake News is DISTORTING DEMOCRACY in our country!”
“The FAKE NEWS media (failing @nytimes, @CNN, @NBCNews and many more) is not my enemy, it is the enemy of the American people. SICK!”

Whereas Trump has responded to protected speech he dislikes by calling for a punitive government response and issuing commands to private citizens like a king or tyrant.

For example:

“It is about time that Roger Goodell of the NFL is finally demanding that all players STAND for our great National Anthem-RESPECT OUR COUNTRY”
“Why is the NFL getting massive tax breaks while at the same time disrespecting our Anthem, Flag and Country? Change tax law!”
“The NFL has all sorts of rules and regulations. The only way out for them is to set a rule that you can’t kneel during our National Anthem!”
“The issue of kneeling has nothing to do with race. It is about respect for our Country, Flag and National Anthem. NFL must respect this!”
“If a player wants the privilege of making millions of dollars in the NFL,or other leagues, he or she should not be allowed to disrespect”

Whereas the aforementioned statements, individually or in aggregate, establish a clear pattern of failing to defend the Constitution and repeated attacks on its Bill of Rights.

Whereas it is a high crime to violate one’s sworn oath to the supreme law of the land.

Wherefore, Donald John Trump, through flagrant violations of the oath he took before God, country, and flag, warrants impeachment, trial, removal, and public disgrace.

Good to hear this was defeated. If it had moved forward it would have been voted down, and good luck getting another one then.

We want this vote when it will pass and win
