Sometimes it's not the easy answer to complex problems but it's the right answer. I think good people are tired of being victims. Tired of being victims to Crime, Taxes and Government Corruption. Maybe it's about time we do something about it. How much more **** are we going to take before we rise up and demand some Justice and Liberty and get the government back in order and out of our homes, wallets and person lives.

Depends on your state. The more left-leaning states have "duty to retreat laws" and in some, like MA, even then you'd probably be charged with murder and it'd be left to a jury to decide if it was self-defense. Which is why castle doctrine laws are such a good thing, it eliminates all of that.

While criminals go free, criminals have guns, criminals break all the laws and good people suffer. I'm sick of this crap and I'm not going to take it anymore and liberals have become my sworn enemny from now on. Give me my guns with out restrictions and lets see if criminals are so brave. Then we have the liberals who say it wasnt the criminals fault he was the product of the poor. Their are many poor people who are not criminals. People all over the world do not steal, and do not kill people and rape them of their life. This person made a choice and if he walked into a home that wasnt his, threated and did harm I wish she had a gun and shot him dead.

I think he would be more spooked if she was standing there with a 12 gauge shotgun.
Look at SWB's other posts in this thread. SWB later says, "I think the best thing one could do is to sleep with a loaded weapon and fully-charged cell phone in the drawer of your nightstand so if you think an intruder is burgling your home you can quickly reach over, grab the means of defense, and then retreat to a safe hiding place to call 911. If you sense that the intruder is approaching, you can then let him bite the bullet."

I think what the poster meant is that she should have called 911 right away and not waited to call her husband first. I don't know the circumstances of the call to the husband, so I can't say for sure what happened, but if the guy was in the house and she knew it, she should have called the cops ASAP.
