Not a bad idea, though like all things, open to grey areas of interpretation, and thus potentially manipulated. Still, the alternative, as shown in this nation, is hate sites masquerading as news sites, which has its own obvious problems. There are no easy answers and will never be so long as people are willing to make up their own facts, as one can see by a quick tour around this right-wing forum.

I said the "idea" of cutting down on fake news and hate speech is not a bad one. Read the rest of what I wrote vs. making assumptions and you'll see that I freely admit it's open to manipulation, and thus has its own issues. You just trade one problem for another.
As I said, there are no good answers. Allow people to spew idiocy and bigotry under the guise of news, and you get the current mess in the US. Crack down on it, and that rapidly will turn into suppression of freedom of speech. There are no easy answers.
The IDEA of cracking down on fake news and bigotry online is not a bad one - and I have to question righties who think such things are good for a nation - but the implementation of such a crackdown is basically impossible to do correctly.

Horrible idea, more so when there are folks like you determing what words we can all use.
Censorship was rampant throughout Nazi Germany. Censorship ensured that Germans could only see what the Nazi hierarchy wanted people to see, hear what they wanted them to hear and read only what the Nazis deemed acceptable.

Can you say "control freak?"
Ban, ban, ban. Coming, again, from the left. Because that's where it always comes from.
