Thank god for the internet and technology. Lots of business can be done online or via videophone to mitigate human contact and the cancelled flights (for business).

I think the market will rebound as soon as this passes.
Problem is, its in the 3rd world now and they do not have the capability to suppress or contain the virus effectively, thus it will continue to incubate in these countries and cause outbreaks elsewhere even if it is successfully controlled in the short term in the first world.

At this point it is with us until there is an effective vaccine. The time frame to effectively contain it has passed.

Don't get me wrong, it's bad.

But mortality rate is about 2% which isn't that bad.

2% is actually pretty bad. If 2 out of every 100 people you interact with died you would notice real fast.

Moving products is a huge issue that can't be resolved with the internet.

My partner runs a business where the supplychain is locked into China. While he makes his products here and sources as much as he can in the US, boxes, bottles and jars largely come from China. There are so few producers left in the US and he found them to be unreliable, when there are enough options in China that he can get what he needs in a fraction of the time.

Much of his supply line has been cut and the US factories that produce these items aren't able to absorb the increased demand.

And these are luxury items, to say nothing of medical equipment (including masks and gloves), food packaging, and other more necessary items.

May the Coronavirus visit the WH so he gets a taste of his own medicine.
