Because now that he is the potus, she will sell the details for a lot more than 130k. Hell she might even write a book, who knows. How is it this hard to understand how this can be monetized after that pesky NDA is done away with, a roadkill skunk could take that story and monetize it.
So? What Stormy Daniels is doing absolutely has everything to do with Trump now being POTUS. Not to insult her, but do you really believe that somebody who has sex on camera for money is above taking her story about the POTUS to the bank? She's looking to cash in while the getting's good.
You think Trump is above such behavior? How many people has Donald Trump screwed over in his years as a sleazy real estate man in NYC? How many times has Donald Trump been sued and settled out of court? Trump would screw anyone over if he thought he could make a buck.
You upset that Daniels is cashing in on a lucrative opportunity? If Donald Trump didn't have sex with a porn star while his wife Melania was at home with his infant baby, none of this wouldn't be happening right now.

The longer this drags out, the more likely she will get a book deal and/or a movie deal. If it was only the affair, it likely would be of little interest. The NDA and the lawsuits and related drama have made this complex enough for a book or movie. There are many twists and turns to the whole issue. And it's still not over yet.
Yeah - she's gonna get some big bucks for a movie or book deal. And her attorney, Mr Avenatti, will get some high returns in his career as well. He probably has hundreds of new clients begging to take their case, for whatever bill rate he chooses. He probably will get a future book deal too, and a hosting gig on TV if he chooses.
What does someone expect them to do, donate everything to charity? They are working their tails off right now. And Stormy has some massive legal bills. High risk sometimes gets a high reward. I doubt she realized how huge this Trump/Stormy affair would get. Most of them got tossed aside. Stormy and her attorney have kept this in the news. They are using the exact press game that Trump has used his entire life. He cashed in on it too.

He is all about the Donald---every word coming out of his mouth focuses on HIM--and he uses the Royal "WE" a lot... Trump tries to monetize anything he does--Trump ties, Trump water, Trump football, Trump Air, Trump U, splash his name on hotels and condos...
Supposedly he copywrited thousands of items of intellectual property in China right after the election--after trying unsuccessfully for years....guess being POTUS has some clout...
Trump also monetizes his relationships-
He even took contributions to his charity and spent the money on himself--how surprising...

Right now I think Stormy has bigger fish to fry but doubtless her current attorney is gathering information.
IF Cohen recorded Richardson's communications and IF those recordings could be used by the Bar Assn he Richardson's licence to practice law is in jeopardy. The other risk for him and his law partners is malpractice. Can you imagine the liability based on the usual and customary fees charged by Stormy's current lawyer if she files a malpractice suit?
The other issue is whether or not others would hire Richardson to be their attorney. His business model is at risk.
Maybe that only means something in the court of public opinion, but I guess she doesn't care.

She is as venal as Trump. It's not that I approve of venality - I don't. It's one of the primary judgements I made about Trump's character decades ago, and one of the reasons why I would never vote for him.
But I find it very revealing that while plenty of people think venality is OK in a male president, many of the same folks think it is unacceptable in a female entrepreneur. There's an obvious double standard here.
