Ask Ivana Trump what she thinks of Marla Maples, the mistress he brought on a family vacation. Watch Trump give an interview on Howard Stern. Evangelicals who now overlook all of that to defend Trump have exposed they are motivated by politics, not religion.

Let me make an *educated guess* why it's a case.
See, "Constitution" is "a body of fundamental principles or established precedents according to which a state or other organization is acknowledged to be governed."
Now the Bible ( and Christianity in particular) doesn't have such "fundamental principles" according to which state can be governed. It leaves a wide range of possible interpretations ( and personal choices.) That's why it simply doesn't make sense to mention "God" in the context of the laws that govern the state.
Which is a big contrast with, say, Islam, where Koran actually does have the instructions how to run the state. That's why Koran ( and direct reference to God) serves as Constitution of Saudi Arabia.
Let me clarify what I meant to say. When I said there is no Christian god, I'm referring to Jesus being god, as this is who Christians believe is god.
Anyone that believes that Jesus is god, has been duped. Read your bible, the Jewish prophesy for their messiah is not Jesus, hence why the Jewish people never accepted him as the messiah.
So you're right, the idea of a god is not just for christians, but the idea that Jesus is god, is BS that people have bought, hook, line and sinker.

And the money has nothing to do with god, either. The motto was put on it for the first time in 1864. The original currency of the United States bore the motto "Mind Your Business".
