It's the people that make it a toilet, not the scenery. It's been 10 years or so since they had an earthquake. Who ever heard of it taking 10 years to fix earthquake damage, especially when the place was pretty much a shambles before.
It's called Capitalism. The resorts are owned by corporations whose SOLE responsibility, and reason for existence is to maximize profits for their shareholders. They pay the market rate for wages. The employees are not forced to work there.
I'm still wondering why all these liberals who wanted to leave the country after trump got elected and are mad about his ****hole comment don't just move to Haiti?

They were a ****Hole prior to the hurricane, and prior to the earthquake they had several years ago. They will be a ****Hole after the hurricane damage is cleaned up, if ever. The government is highly corrupt. You could move the entire country to Africa, and it would fit right in.
I was gonna say, I don't think anybody disputes the fact that the island itself is a tropical paradise. The problem is it's not the tropical paradise that wants to emigrate the the United States.

These resorts in Haiti are fenced off from the rest of the country. They are compounds that only tourists can go to. The general population of Haiti can't just stroll onto those beaches. That's the only thing that keeps these areas decent.
So after trump called Haiti a **** country, Conan obrien goes there for his show to show how great the people are. Well two scenes in a mob of Haitians almost attack him and you can tell he was nervious! Hahaha. Classic snowflake liberal!
They wanted his wallet and his clothes too not to mention any and all electronics. Haiti per capita income is $800 per year.....so 70 Haitians put together would equal the GDP of one american. But if they come to america and get a welfare check, they would be rich by Hatitan standards. So why do we need them here?

He didn’t say it in a presser, it was at a meeting. And the democrats ran to the media to say he said something so awful (people actually cried ) because they don’t want a deal being put forth by Trump. They want to make sure Trump can never get credit for doing something Obama never tried to do. Democrats want to be the ones to control this issue and use it for the mid-terms.
