Probably because the U.S. outspends the entire planet in military spending, with the vast majority of that money going to contractors and third parties, leading to epic corruption and hundreds of billions in waste.
Funny that Trump cultists love to blame "welfare moms" (codeword for blacks) and the like, but have no problem spending like 1000x more on booze, sex parties, massive kickbacks etc. in the military. Have you been following the latest epic military scandal? The Fat Leonard security breach?
