No one ever mentions Japan's strict gun laws and low murder rate.
Japan has a CULTURE of civility and also they don't drug all their kids. The problem over here isn't guns at all, but a violent (video etc) culture and kids who are medicated while at home and then dump the meds when on their own. Thus we see the 18-20 year old zombies with guns. Take away the guns they go to knives or worse.
These school shooters aren't hardened gun users......but they are logical enough to go for soft targets, the softest of which are GUN FREE ZONES. Put 8-10 CCW good guys in the mix who can jump out at random and it is a considerable threat. There are no perfect solutions. We re almost completely gun free in most places, with all firepower in the criminal element. We've all now seen how they strictly obey gun laws...and how it works when NOBODY pushes back.

The school shooters are shooting at schools because they have personal grudges against particular schools and/or the people in them. I thought that was obvious. The guy who shot up Marjorie Stoneman Douglas High wasn't going to go to some random location and shoot up just anyone, his grudge was against his former high school and he would have shot it up even if it wasn't a gun free zone.
Ok we can post your vote to do nothing and leave the shooting galleries the way they are, with the crazies having the concealed carry..........
Guaranteed every student who went down would have loved to see anybody with a Glock show up......

For Chrissakes can we stop with the 'gun free' zone bullchit? The shooters go to the school that they KNOW where the people that they want to kill are.
They don't care if it's gun-free. THEY DO NOT CARE. Most school shooters die at the scene by their own hand or by the police. They ALL know this. It does not stop them.

It's not really his fault, you know. He grabbed an article on the Internet and copy/pasted - does the OP strike you as someone equipped to spot issues with somebody else's writing? He trusted Israel National News and they let him down.
