I KNEW that Mr. Harris should have thrown caution to the wind, and build the largest cross in the US, and not settle for the third largest. No doubt, he regretted not spending the extra cash, and would sit at home and drown his sorrows in meth.

Here be the story from the Star-Telegram:

Andy Harris meth arrest: Louisiana pastor resigns from Church of the Cross | Fort Worth Star-Telegram

Anyway, seriously, so many people are simply throwing away their lives by using drugs and alcohol. It is a sad state of affairs.

Meth a big problem in poor white areas. Seems to be the new way to make a living as rural counties lose population and small business.

Meth, plus Social Security Disability. Take the two away, and the land of trailer houses and missing teeth will become a thing of the past.

Perhaps this thread should be merged with Texas Church pastor who fought human trafficking paid for sex at massage parlor ?

I tend to distrust the motives of people who try to publicly prove what upright, god-fearing, and moral citizens they are. Shades of Ted Haggard.

This pastor seems to have fought the police about the cross and won. Perhaps revenge planting dope in his house?

Well, my link to the Star Telegram noted that the pastor admitted to usage. It also noted that as soon as the news became public, and he resigned his church, the church erased him from their websites.
