Arguing about degree is a waste.

Fact is, the Republicans hated the ground Obama walked on irrespective of any policy making, and it was personal.

So the favor must be returned in kind.

So. Lots of German and Irish Americans here too.

And yes...she tortures.

I doubt any of the first 3 posters in this thread had even heard of her before her nomination. Now she is the devil incarnate and you want her life to be hell. Either y'all have always been nasty people or Trump really did break you.

Ahh, yes. Let's drag out someone from the Bush Administration who has a bit of torture in her background; cover up of said torture . . and NOW wants to be CIA director. Republicans KNEW this was going to be an issue and they nominated her anyway.

You get what you get. One guy lost an eye under her torture procedures.

That is NOT what the US stands for. But Trump likes to think of himself as a 'tough guy'.

Bingo. She looks so innocent and unassuming! I guess those would be the best kind.

Gina Haspel has overwhelming support by people in the intel agency's. There is documented evidence to disprove the lies and smear campaign against her.
Watching the confirmation hearing will bring out all the information necessary to prove she is highly qualified and it should give everyone plenty of examples to see how much the Dems hate women in high positions.
This is hilarious. At the exact same time, Hillary is in Australia whining about how "professional women" never get any respect..lets see how the dems will do everything in their power to try to destroy this woman

The double standard is ludicrous, but not unexpected from the hypocrite Left.

At the SERE School they put a damp cloth over the mouth, and apply a SMALL amount of water.

By contrast during the waterboarding they pour a continuous and large amount of water.

The techniques differ significantly as the intent behind SERE training is to train people to resist such torture, whereas the waterboarding we did on these people was to in fact torture them.

We did this 183 times to one person.

Here is what happens when we do it to someone who claims its not torture:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wOStoGd5GZw

Turns out afterwards that person suddenly realizes it IS torture.

Yeah because someone who tortured people is the EXACT same as Hillary Clinton.

What nonsense. Do you people have no shame at all?

Default Gina Haspel pledges she won't repeat CIA torture program if appointed

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/...tes?CMP=twt_gu

Donald Trump’s nominee to be the next CIA director says that if she is confirmed by the Senate, the spy agency will not undertake a detention and harsh interrogation program like the one used after the 11 September 2001 terrorist attacks on the US.

Is this an admission that it was wrong to use those harsh interrogation programs?

Do we think she demonstrated questionable judgement in the past indicating a huge professional error in judgement

OR......

do we think it is admirable that she is owning her mistake and willing to not make the same one.
