Trump plays one game--golf, and those who have played with him claim he cheats at that.
Cheats constantly. Every report I've read on this says he takes several mulligans a game, often rakes in putts or just takes it as a given instead of actually putting.
No one knows what his actual handicap is as no one has ever played a game with him where he doesn't cheat throughout the whole game.

However, if he doesn't like where it lands, he drops another ball and hits it as if the first one never happened.
He seems to be governing the same way. He says or does some outlandish thing. If that works, then fine. If not, he forgets it and moves on to some other outlandish thing.

I used to work for a company that subsidized 9 holes of golf one day a week after work. If I learned one thing it was that those who cheated at golf were the very same people you needed to protect your back from in the office.
Here's the truth. Putin is far smarter that Trump could ever hope to be, and he is conducting 21st century geopolitics like a maestro. Have no idea what he is holding over his head, but it is obvious that DJT is beholden to him in some way. How else could you explain an American President not standing up unequivocally to an avowed enemy of our country?
For a dumb, illiterate, mouth breather he sure is lucky. He's defeated ISIS in Iraq, defeated ISIS in Syria, has North Korea volunteering to suspend all missile testing & denuclearize, convinced Russia & China not to veto sanctions against NK, has all the UN nations paying for their own defense, has us the closest to a Mideast peace plan we've been in decades, is balancing the trade scales with China, is hurting Russia's economy big-time, has us at all-time records for oil/gas production, got us out of the TPP, is renegotiating NAFTA, got us out of the Paris Climate Accord (regardless of your position on climate change, this was a great move), lowered taxes on the middle and working classes, has us at historic lows for unemployment, has wages on the uptick for the first time in a decade, the stock market is roaring & retirement accounts have shot up, all with one arm tied behind his back.
Love how you throw all this out there with no facts or links to support your claims. Let's unpack this.

- has North Korea volunteering to suspend all missile testing & denuclearize - when did this happen? NK only said it will hold off on any tests until a meeting and agreed to allow joint SK/US military maneuvers. The South Koreans said that the North is willing to discuss denuclearization and it has not happened yet.
- has all the UN nations paying for their own defense - Huh? Do you mean NATO nations? They were already paying for their own defense. And they don't owe us and "dues".
- has us the closest to a Mideast peace plan we've been in decades - Huh? Did Jared pull something off that wasn't reported? Beside turn on our ally Qatar, where we have a strategic base.
- is balancing the trade scales with China - Yeah that worked out well for us in the stock market this past week.
- is hurting Russia's economy big-time - How? This is the crux of all Putin's maneuvering - to get Trump to drop all US sanctions against Russia so his criminal enterprise can generate even more money for him and his cronies.
- has us at all-time records for oil/gas production - was happening already.

- got us out of the Paris Climate Accord (regardless of your position on climate change, this was a great move) - the actions in this accord were voluntary. - the stock market is roaring & retirement accounts have shot up, all with one arm tied behind his back - the stock market was roaring for the past 7 years as well, sending retirement accounts shooting up during that time frame as well. (Dow was up about 160% in the previous 7 years). And the stock market had a bit of a bad week if you hadn't noticed, related to tariffs implemented by Trump.

There really is no other explanation for Trump's behavior with regard to Putin and the Kremlin.
Whether it is financial backing, blackmail, or ??? there is some reason that Trump has been defending Putin and undermining investigations by Congress, the FBI, and the Special Counsel to figure out what the hell went on with the election.
