But apparently Pruitt is great at making people THINK he is tearing down the EPA and that is more boast than fact
Many of things he wanted to do are tied up in legal wrangling
So he is not achieving the results he likes to make people think he is doing
What he IS doing likely is lot of lobbying on behalf of those same monied GOP interests like Carl Icahn...
On the government payroll

So I am hoping Trey Gowdy does go after him
If he did, that would be proof the worm (GOP politicians) has turned against Trump in very visible fashion

The Secret Service make a threat assessment for each Cabinet official to determine who is really at greater risk--none was proven for Pruitt
But he WANTED the extra security detail and he made it happen
Maybe he is afraid of some angry husbands or boyfriends catching up to him...

Certainly doesn't look like he's going anywhere. Each new scandal seems to reinforce the cons' love for him.

Now EPA has fired the staffer who apparently provided the memo that Pruitt's threat level was not dangerous
https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/...ing/505437002/

Pruitt is an idiot--
OK must really be a corrupt state if he was so successful for so long--
Because leopards don't change their spots, and Pruitt likely operated just the same there as in DC...

I have never rooted for Trey Gowdy til now...
Go for the jugular, Mr. Gowdy...

Fired the staff member?

I thought it was obtained by the press via the Freedom of Information Act? No?

Why would Senators not have legal access to this document?

I don't see any way that Pruitt gets fired.
From what I understand, he would be Trump's best choice to replace Sessions without Congressional approval, and we know that he has no issue doing whatever Trump asks of him.

So Congress could decide that he has abused the public trust, etc. but they would have no way to remove him?

What if he was convicted of a crime?
