Seriously? In every issue related to guns where you and I have disagreed, you have been wrong. Without exception.

The 80% “receiver” linked to above is neither a receiver nor a frame, according to the law.

And you are wrong again. Isn’t this getting tiring for you?

A liberal wouldn't know the Constitution if it slapped them in the pus.

They can't even get the 1st Amendment right.

They think it says freedom from religion. They are wrong.

So you quite passionately believe criminals with a felony record must be allowed to own all the guns they want? Likewise for people who are violently mentally ill.

Interesting how alcoholics can have guns but not those who use legal medical marijuana under federal law.

HINT: The term 'law abiding' DOES NOT mean only living within the laws one likes.

I'll note he has also stated in the past:

while providing nothing to support that statement so excuse me if I don't take his 'interpretations' of law as being based on anything other than personal opinion.
Yep, and you know what they compare opinions to...everybody has one.

I'll leave you and the rest to that exercise.
OR you cloud actually look up what it meant at the time the Constitution was written as many historians have done.

But, we KNOW you won't because then you wouldn't be able to post these ridiculous claims and false statements.

I am NOT concerned what YOU think it means because YOUR "interpretation" is NOT what it is.

Wild cliaims like this is one reason why seldom csn come to agreements on issues.

We do need restrictions on gun ownership like never before. Back in the late 1700's the nuts were locked up in asylums, the criminals were in stocks, hung, or cast into terrible prisons where they did not often last long, black people were second class citizens or owned as slaves, people believed in one God and for the most part respected each other.

Fast forward to today and we have nutty people walking around in a fog of medication, children that are also medicated to calm them down and make them pay attention, felons of violent crimes that are out on parole, would be terrorists that are directed to kill because their god tells them to and a populace that in many ways is in it for themselves and would rather step on someones neck then help them to stand and we wonder why we need so many laws.

I think most sane people would want to keep guns out of the hands of the types of people listed above.

That is where a license comes into play. In many cases to obtain that gun license one has to take a safety class and then be given the approval of their police chief after an extensive background check.

Society has grown to a point that would have the founding fathers shaking their heads at how far their beloved experiment in democracy has fallen.

There are just some people that should not be allowed to walk among us and certainly never to legally own a gun .
"That is where a license comes into play. In many cases to obtain that gun license one has to take a safety class and then be given the approval of their police chief after an extensive background check."

Under the Constitution you do NOT need a license to exercise ANY of the RIGHTS guaranteed under the Constitution.

MOTE people die in swimming pools then rifles.

MORE people die via a blunt instruments like a baseball bat then rifles.

Why don't you need a license to own any of those?

Should a safety class be required to own a pool or a baseball bat?

How about a bicycle?

How about using a power saw. They can be very dangerous.

Have we become so stupid that we NEED a safety class for EVERYTHING?

What ever happened to "COMMON SENSE"

Our government has become so overbearing that the safety book you get when you buy a new car is THICKER then the Users manual ON HOW TO OPERATE IT.

We have to put a sticker on the lawn mower saying "DO NOT PUT HANDS UNDER THE MOWER WHEN T IS RUNNING"

A gun is just like any other piece of machinery. If you can'y figure how to use it safely then you shouldn't buy it.

I have no problem wih doing a xcrimonal background check.

Criminals should NOT be allowed to buy guns.

Then again we ALL Know that criminals do NOT go through the background check process to start with and they get them anyway, so who are we REALLY affecting?

When a policeman pulls you over for having a taillight out, within MINUETS he KNOWS your life's criminal history.

"We do need restrictions on gun ownership like never before."

NOT as long as we have a 2nd amendment.

"The RIGHT of the PEOPLE to KEEP and BEAR ARMS shall NOT be INFRINGED"

If you want to do something change the 2nd amendment and good luck with that!

Many have said "apply the SAME laws that exist regarding the 2nd amendment, to the 1 st amendment. PERIOD!

THAT would stop a lot of these silly, ridiculous, useless gun laws.
