investigation
[in-ves-ti-gey-shuh n]
noun
1. the act or process of investigating or the condition of being investigated.
2. a searching inquiry for ascertaining facts; detailed or careful examination.

Among other things, the investigation is looking for Americans that conspired with a foreign government to interfere in our elections. Many key players have lied in order to impede this investigation, so there just may have been crimes committed.

You're also too late, as a Watergate-like cover-up has already started.

P.S. I think you need more practice.

It would still matter, to Trump at least. Any information that is not pertinent to crime is not usable as it would be considered illegally obtained. This is why the taint team looks over the information first. If is usable they pass it on to the investigators on the team, if not they don't give it to them. There is no sense in investigators preparing a case with evidence that would cause the whole case to be thrown out of court.

However, I think the penalty for revealing privileged information is being disbarred, which will likely happen anyway.
Right. But he might have a lot of other information that IS subject to the A/C privilege but that Mueller would want to know about. That's where he could get in trouble. But again, he's already in a lot of trouble.

Trump doesn't seem to have used Cohen to protect him in legal proceedings, but rather to carry out various undertakings, such as explore the possibilities for building a hotel and so forth.

Would these undertakings be covered-by attorney-client privileges if they did not involve illegal activities such as money laundering, bribes, deals in countries such as Cuba which were under U.S. sanctions, etc.?

Cannot dispute that.

My guess is that they have a lot of info from the already cooperating witnesses and Cohen either has already made a deal or is negotiating one to join their ranks.

Which is likely what has Trump so spooked.
After Trump kicked Cohen in front of a speeding train with the proclamation that he didn't know anything about the hush money, he really shouldn't expect a lot of loyalty from Cohen. As you sow, et cetera. Cohen knows what the FBI confiscated, and he knows what his testimony is worth concerning same. He is as important a figure in this as Manafort, if not more so. He'll flip easily and sing pretty.

That is hwy Donnie was hugging himself on camera when he was talking about it, trying to hide behind his own arms. He knows the ***'s up. It's just a matter of time.

Mueller is finding a trove of criminal behavior associated to Trump while conducting his investigation and handed it over following the law to continue his own.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/04/11/polit...ood/index.html

Trump said in the beginning during the appointment of Mueller that he encourages the investigation to follow wherever it might lead. Probably expecting it to go after Clinton. Clinton isn't President.

The Trump Organization is a Quagmire of criminal activity and the Mueller team is painstakingly piecing it all together and it doesn't look good.

The stormy daniels stuff was going to get him disbarred. Thats been apparent for a while to be honest. And disbarment is the ONLY penalty for a lawyer breaking attorney client privilege. So its not THAT difficult of a call in the end.
