so this isn't new. they have been doing this for a while. it costs like $40,000 per mile. it doesn't take long to spend all your pennies at that rate

For some reason there has been a huge uptick in the number of potholes over the last year or so out here.

Heavy rains are getting the blame. Obviously no snow and no freeze/thaw cycles either.

Yet when I go to England and Scotland I see beautiful expanses of road where my Lotus owning friend can drive 100MPH and the ride is as smooth as glass.
