Nobody is suggesting that kids have the liberties that adults should have.
Not what I was saying. If you bring responsibilities of children into the world and then expect society to pick up those responsibilities for you, society has a right to address that.
What is more, evangelicals are okay with actively participating in every one of those vices you mentioned, and as well as supporting any other pretend "Christian" who does so (providing they have an (R) after their names).
But a little weed?!? Oh, my, Jesus wouldn't like that!
Your bias is embarrassing. I know quite a few christian republicans who consume marijuana.
It's been tried. They already have their mind made up about it. They are incapable or unwilling to consider the issue apart from the stereotypes. Trying to convince them that it should be legal is futile because it will never happen.

If you are only harming yourself, oh well.
So, don't drive a car. If you get killed in a car, society has to care for your children.
And on and on......
BTW, laws are not preventing anybody from consuming drugs. They are and always have been readily available.

He's the POTUS, he's the man in charge, and I am happy he slapped that idiots Sessions face in front of the world. I am no Trump fan (wanted to be)....Trump drives me nuts with his tweets and mouth, but on this one....kudos.
I am dealt with if I drive in an irresponsible manner.
.
Just like drug users should be. Drug consumption does not equal drug abuse.
