The same could be said about every single Tom, D--k and Harry at CNN, MSNBC, CBS, NBC, ABC, NYT et al.
They all just got embarrassed for pushing their nutty conspiracy theories and don't even have enough self-awareness or integrity to admit they were lying the whole time.
It started out a just investigating Russia connection and when trump fired Comey then he brought the obstruction investigation on himself. Why do I have to remind you Comrade? lol
Jones has given a bad name to all conspiracy theorists, and to anyone who is ever skeptical about mainstream news. If you want to discredit someone easily, just call them a conspiracy theorist. That will conjure the image of Alex Jones as he sputters insanity and his face turns purple. No one wants to be associated with that.
But the problem is that AJ was probably right about some things. There were grains of truth hidden in the nuttiness. He was fighting the mainstream lie machine which has most Americans brainwashed and/or confused.
Too bad he's nuts, and now is pleading insanity just to prove it.
We need more journalists who dig things up, like AJ, but sane and intelligent.
