Should this conversation be in the philosophy forum , since you aren't actually discussing reality or Marxism. It's more of a , hippys surrounding a bong, thing right?
If you notice I have engaged him this whole time because of this fact. It's hysterical.

When does an item lose ownership? Do I lose ownership of the hammer when I set it down to pick up a nail (which I want to pound in with said hammer in a few seconds)? If I put the hammer in my pocket because I'm using it periodically throughout the day is it not mine to use at any time because I've never relinquished it to be claimed?

I'll say the word again: bonkers. A completely bonkers mindset and system. My hope is future generations read this transcript.

Public utilities are separate from tools.

Nonetheless they are all public property and there is no insinuation that during or before the neolithic era ownership of goods beyond ones physical reach was comprehended or accepted.

Humans aren't lions.

The rest I've explained already.

Oh, my. Marx believed in the forceful destruction of what he deemed class structure as well as abolishing freedom to possess and enjoy the fruits of labor.

Are you very young, or is communism a new topic to you?

No. Understanding that public resources don't belong to an individual changes the nature of human interaction.

The examples you use are defined by a capitalist society of greed and control over the largest amount of resources.

So once a man masters fulfilling his basic needs he has to go to sleep until the next day?

Ad hominem attacks won't get you anywhere in a discussion.

Marx first looked to the Paris communes as what socialism would be, not authoritarian governments that controlled the working class.

Yes he had "suggested" the first step would be the state abolishing private control but that was only a means, not an end.

I prefer the model set forces in Catalonia, allowing for a worker run society directly from a capitalist run society.
